Resistance welding is a thermos-electric process in which heat is generated at the interface of the work pieces to be joined by passing an electrical current through the work pieces under a controlled pressure (also called force).
A resistance welding machine consists of a power supply, a weld head, and electrodes. The power supply controls the electric current, the weld head holds the metal between its electrodes and applies pressure to the metal to be welded, and the electrodes apply the pressure and deliver the welding current to the workpiece. Hwashi Technology has been providing various welding solutions, including spot welding, seam welding, and butt welding to meet your resistance welding application needs.
Spot welding is mainly used for welding metal sheets. Hwashi Technology resistance spot welding equipment comes with capacitor discharge spot welding machines, DC inverter spot welding machines, and AC pulse spot welding machines. The applicable materials include low carbon steel, stainless steel, galvanized steel, aluminum alloy, copper alloy, titanium alloy, high strength steel, carbon steel, etc.
Seam welding is a resistance welding process for joining metal sheets in continuous, leak tight seam joints by directly applying opposing forces with electrodes consisting of rotary wheels. The seam of the resistance seam welding machine consists of individual weld spots.
Resistance butt welding machine utilizes the electrical resistance between the contact surfaces of two workpieces. By applying low voltage and high current, the contact surfaces of the metal pieces are rapidly heated to the point of melting and then fused together.
With over 20 years of combined experience in the field of resistance welding machines and automatic welding systems, we know what global manufacturers need to stand out in their competitive market.
